Born 7.2.1956 in Prague
1971 - 1975 Secondary School of Arts and Crafts in Prague, majoring in woodcarving
1976 - 1982 Academy of Arts and Crafts in Prague, studio of TV and film graphics
Since 1974 a real member of the secret organization B.K.S.
Since 1985 Commander of the Order of the Green Ladybug
1987 - 1991 member of the artistic group Tvrdohlaví
Since 1980 he has been illustrating children's books, for which he has won many awards
In 1991, he received the Jindřich Chalupecký Prize with a three-month stay at the Headlands Center for the Arts near San Francisco, USA, and the 1st Arte Giovane di Europa Prize in Bolzano, Italy
In 1993 he represented the Czech Republic at the 45th Venice Biennale, where he exhibited drawings and objects from his 850 km long walking pilgrimage to Italy.
Since 1992 he has been gradually working on the creation of the interiors of the Acropolis Palace in Prague.
He plays and sings in the Small Dance Orchestra Univerzal Praha, the group Finský Barok, the group Třaskavá směs and with the brass band Provodovjané.
He is a member of the Sklep Theatre and the vocal pantomime trio Tros Sketos
At the end of 2004, he introduced himself to the public with the largest exhibition of his work to date, called Skála v Rudolfinu, which became the exhibition of the year.
In 2010, he received the State Prize of the Ministry of Culture for his contribution in the field of visual arts.
In 2017, he had a major exhibition in Prague at the Waldstein Riding Hall, where he presented his works since 2004, and in 2020 he exhibited his paintings from the last two years in a major exhibition at Fait Gallery in Brno.
In 2021 he showed his illustration work for the first time at a large exhibition at the Stone Bell House of the National Gallery of Culture.
He has presented his work in many solo and group exhibitions and his work is represented in collections at home and abroad.
